Bitter gourd, also called sopropo, is a tropical plant with a history of use as an herbal remedy. Sopropo Tea is made from the stems and leaves of the Momordica charantia plant, and it is also available in the market as a powder or extract.
Sopropo Tea is healthy. That's because Sopropo is full of vitamins B1, B2, B3, B11 and C. In addition, this tea is rich in magnesium, phosphorus, iron, zinc and manganese. This makes it a source of various phytonutrients: Sopropo even contains 2x as much beta-carotene as broccoli, 2x as much potassium as a banana and 2x as much calcium as spinach!
